On Monday we traveled to Jefferson, Oregon to visit a Hybrid Poplar Tree Farm. Students learned about the importance of hybrid poplar growth cycles, and the conversion of hybrid poplars to biofuel.
On Tuesday, students met with their assigned mentors and groups to collaborate on their research project.
Later, students toured Dixon Recreational Center and had the option to play a recreational sport.
